The national awards celebration for housing in Scotland has opened its digital event for registration in advance of the 13th annual competition celebration which takes place at the end of this month.

The Scottish Home Awards virtual event is being broadcast as a live digital experience which will announce the long-awaited winners from 109 housebuilders who are vying for titles.

The event uses new technology which recreates the awards night experience with a range of features, in addition to the presentation which will be broadcast live from the Glasgow DoubleTree ballroom.  Digital viewers can interact with branded tables, enjoy networking time, read, and engage with sponsor profiles and participate in live chat.

Only users who register for tickets will be able to watch the awards programme which will be hosted by comedian and broadcaster, Des Clarke.

The Scottish Home Awards reported a record-high volume of entries in this year’s competition and working with sponsors, Ross & Liddell, finalists had been announced in 19 categories earlier this year.

Andrew Cunningham, Director of Ross+Liddell, the headline sponsor of the Scottish Home Awards, commented

“These awards deliver fantastic advantages to the many participants particularly in delivering that all important feel-good factor to teams and individuals working hard in housebuilding.    It’s been a very challenging year for everyone and we’re looking forward to rewarding individuals and teams at the Scottish Home Awards which is still an all-important night in the housing industry calendar.”
