Michaela Sullivan is the Head of Planning at Forth Ports PLC, where she is responsible for the planning strategy for the regeneration of Edinburgh's waterfront to create a new community in the city. Before her move to Forth Ports, Michaela was Assistant Chief Planner for Scotland, where she took a leading role in the development of Scotland's new planning legislation: The Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 2006.

Michaela has a background in property management consultancy and planning within the housebuilding industry, and has provided advice for key clients and secured planning permission for a range of major mixed use and residential developments throughout her career.
