Jacqui Watt, Chief Executive of the SFHA since 2005 was previously Director of Community Services at Shetland Islands Council.  This Department managed Housing, Educations, Community Development and Social Work service for the diverse islands community.

She was Head of Housing Management at Edinburgh from 1999-2000.  Previous posts also include Gloucester City Council (Head of Housing Management); Knightstone Housing Association in Bristol (Regional Manager); Homeless Action in London (Director); Colonnade Housing Association in Bath; Cardiff City Housing; and a Drug project in Newport.

Jacqui gained a MA (Hons) in Social Policy from Edinburgh University (1984) and an MSc in Management, Development and Social Responsibility (MDSR) from Bristol University in 1995.
