Arnie Dunn, President, RIAS
Arnie Dunn has been involved with the RIAS Council since 1999, and prior to his election as President in June 2007 he was Convenor of the RIAS Practice Board for 2 years. As the new RIAS President, Arnie is proposing significant changes to make the RIAS Council more responsive to the needs of its members and ensure it is evolving to meet the demands of a professional membership body in the 21st century.
Arnie is also determined to raise the profile of the profession of architecture in Scotland and re-establish the status of architects within the building procurement process.
Arnie studied architecture in Liverpool, and in 1983 he moved to Edinburgh to complete his diploma at Edinburgh College of Art. In 1984, he joined Campbell & Arnott Ltd, and over the last two decades he has been part of the team which has made the company into an award-winning practice.
